Mission

Stanford Women in Computer Science (WiCS) is a student organization at Stanford University that strives to promote and support the growing community of women in computer science and technology. Initiatives

Throughout the school year, each team within WiCS Board leads yearlong initiatives that work towards our mission. Some goals include awareness about issues women face in the field and encouraging their educational and professional development.

Events

Many of the WiCS teams plan awesome community and industry eventsβ€”all of which are open to everyone at Stanford. From volunteer opportunities to professional development workshops, there are plenty of ways to be engaged with our community.

Get involved

WiCS is a great pipeline for many companies and resources related to the tech industry. We always update our Notion with helpful resources and send out a weekly digest for women exploring Computer Science! The digest is only available to Stanford students.
